Remigration

Remigration means the return of migrants to their regions or countries of origin. A remigration can be intended from the beginning as well as changing circumstances in the country of residence or country of origin, expiring residence permits or visas or deportation or other individual reasons can lead to remigration. Some states attempt to create material or financial incentives to encourage migrants to return to their countries of origin (s. repatriation grant).
